You, as an individual, can make a really, really big difference. You can save lives. You can change lives. You don’t have to do anything first. You don’t have to be a billionaire or a millionaire. You don’t need money.You don’t have to be a politician or a bureaucrat. You don’t need power, either. Or, at least, no more power than any other human being with a voice and heart.
The Public Debate Initiative exists towards the end of supporting individuals in making a difference. We do that by organizing community problem-solving competitions for students and funding the best solutions. But, that is very far from the only way to do so.
